info@novaelec.co.ukTechnology procurement
Sourcing business technology to an agreed specification — whether it is yours or one we have helped define. Quotations, quantities, lead times and supplier coordination, managed through to supply.
Technology procurement
Some organisations come to us with a precise specification; others with a problem to solve. Both are welcome starting points.
With a specification. If you already know what you need, we can source it directly — no consultancy engagement required. We confirm the details with you, obtain and compare quotations, and coordinate supply.
With a need. If the requirement is still taking shape, we can help define it and specify a suitable solution first, then source against the agreed specification — so what is supplied matches what was agreed.
Technology areas
Indicative areas of business technology we can help specify and source. Each requirement is assessed on its own terms.
01
Laptops, desktops and workstations specified for the roles and workloads they need to support.
02
Wired and wireless networking equipment for business premises, selected to suit capacity needs and existing infrastructure.
03
Display, meeting-room and print technology for offices and shared working areas.
04
Docking, input, audio and storage accessories, selected for compatibility with existing devices and consistency across teams.
05
Server, storage, power-protection and rack hardware that underpins an organisation’s wider IT environment.
Something else?
If your requirement doesn’t fit neatly into these areas, tell us about it. We will be clear about whether we can help.
The procurement process
How procurement runs once there is a specification to work from, with clear communication at each stage.
01
Agree exactly what is to be sourced: products, quantities, delivery location and timescales.
02
Obtain quotations and compare costs, availability and lead times on a like-for-like basis.
03
Once a quotation is accepted, coordinate ordering and delivery arrangements with suppliers.
04
Check what has been supplied against the agreed specification and resolve any outstanding points within the engagement.
Making an enquiry
You don’t need a finished specification to get in touch — but the following helps us respond usefully.
For supplier introductions, trade and procurement correspondence, please contact trade@novaelec.co.uk.
Send us a specification to source, or tell us what you are trying to achieve and we will help establish what is needed.
